Wallace Wood's Cannon

$0.00

Eros comics (Fantagraphic books) reprinted Wally Wood’s series Cannon as a series of comic books, edited by Bill Pearson, in the early 1990s. Cannon originally appeared in overseas weekly newspapers for the military in the late 1960s. The comics were then reprinted magazine sized in the 1970s, self-published by Wally Wood and Bill (Witzend Pearson). These Eros editions are the first time they appeared reprinted with full color covers on glossy paper (and frankly they never looked better). After the 8 issue run was complete, Fantagraphics would reprint the run again as a large oversized book. And then, nearly thirty years later, they would reprint it one last time in a wide format hardcover edition.
