This is a very rare vintage box set of La Création du Monde by renowned French caricaturist Jean Effel, published in 1976. This six-volume set humorously reimagines the biblical story of creation with Effel’s signature whimsical illustrations and satirical storytelling. The set includes five volumes of the creation narrative, plus a special sixth volume, Le Petit Ange, an album illustrated in color.
Jean Effel, whose real name was François Lejeune, is celebrated for his ability to bring lighthearted humor to profound themes.
