5 X Infinito Maroto

$0.00

5 X Infinito 1971, no. 15. Argentina/ Chile comic book publication. Jaw dropping art by Esteban Maroto. Maroto is a Spanish born artist who contributed to publications such as Delta 99 and Dracula. He would also later draw a few series for DC Comics including Amethyst, The Atlantic Chronicles and Zatanna (all well worth seeking out). Neal Adams revised some of Maroto’s early works for 5 X Infinity and retitled it Zero Patrol which Continuity Comics would publish for a brief period. Supposedly Maroto was also the designer of Red Sonja’s metal bikini, later popularized in the Marvel series drawn by Frank Thorne. For Warren publications, he was a frequent contributor to Vampirella magazine.
